Wilson A/C & Appliance was founded in 1949 by “JW” Wilson, Jr. and his wife Lurline. Upon his return from serving in the Pacific during WWII, J.W. decided to learn about the television business. The only station on air at that time was channel 4 out of San Antonio. He took a course, mainly by correspondence, on television repair and began serving an area between San Antonio and Austin.
Today Wilson A/C & Appliance is still serving a large portion of the Hill Country, but no longer in the television arena. Currently, Wilson’s sells and services the best appliances and central air conditioning products available. Still family owned and operated by Trey and Gay Lynn Wilson, Wilson A/C & Appliance continues the tradition set by its founders – high quality dependable appliances backed by reliable, qualified service by both the sales and service staff. The goal at Wilson A/C & Appliance is to provide customers the best service, the best sales experience and the best appliances available anywhere.
