For this client we took a hand drawing and turned it into a dream home. They had found the design and selections they wanted from books and magazines to create a rustic, old-world design. We helped find materials and ways to make the look fit their budget. We are utilizing heavy Fir beams inside and outside, as well as old-fashioned molding and base boards. We are having custom iron light fixtures made specifically for this home, as well as custom cabinets. We also made modifications to the design of the home to take full advantage of the 50+-mile views they now enjoy, by changing their flat ceilings to vaulted, and adding more windows to maximize the views.
