Independence Title has a unique history. Founded in early 2005 by Brian Pitman and Jay Southworth, the company is made up of the best and brightest title professionals from all over Central Texas.
The idea was simple: create a locally owned and operated title company that combines many years of big-company experience and national perspectives with local knowledge and decision making.
It was a good idea. Independence Title has expanded from 18 to 206 employees and from 2 to 24 offices stretching from Greater Austin to San Antonio, Georgetown to Drippings Springs and Liberty Hill to New Braunfels. We offer unparalleled experience and knowledge, with strong relationships locally and statewide.
